Heybrook began manufacturing Hi-fi equipment in 1978. The company name was inspired by Heybrook Bay, a scenic part of the Devon coastline near the site of the original factory.
Over the years, the company has consistently produced audio components capable of communicating the spirit of music to the listener. The application of good, acoustic engineering practice allied with the use of the finest components and materials has resulted in designs which accurately preserve instrument timbre and dynamic contrast, the key ingredients in successfully conveying the emotion, tonal color and structure of all types of music.
While loudspeaker development continued Heybrook diversified into the design and production of high quality amplification and source components.
These achievements have been recognized by music lovers and audio journals around the world, many of the products achieving reference status at their particular price points.
The New Silver Series further demonstrates Heybrook's cumulative experience in loudspeaker design and manufacture. The range covers all possible uses of bedroom system to a full-scale home theatre installation. It also includes discreet, high quality surface-mounting loudspeakers where conventional cabinets are inappropriate.
Two channel stereo systems can be built around the HB1-4 bookshelf and floor standing models. Dolby 5.1 or 7.1 surround systems would also include one or two HBC1 Centre Channel loudspeakers, the HBS200 Sub-woofer and the Point Five surround monitors if space doesn't allow larger speakers to be used at the rear.
